I'm Nat, founder of InchStone and mum to Huey, who has Down syndrome.
I'd watch Huey do something new and think 'I need to remember that.' Then life carried on. By the time I sat down to update his word list, the detail had gone. And by the time his therapy appointment came around, I was drawing a blank on a week full of moments that mattered.
I knew keeping track was valuable. I just couldn't keep on top of it. Talking to other parents at Digbies, our local Down syndrome group, I heard the same story every time.
I'd spent my career designing digital products and working in conversation design and data. It turned out that was exactly the toolkit needed to solve this problem. So I'm building InchStone: a voice-first app that lets you capture observations in the easiest way possible and does the organising for you.
